Epic Mountain Top Elopement Film of Kris and Jodie big day at Mt Ruapehu
Wow, Epic, Stunning.
I am so excited to share this mountain top elopement adventure with Jodie and Kris who tied the knot at National Park, Mt Ruapehu.
Covid has altered many wedding plans. Some have chosen to cancel, to postpone and many have had to modify their wedding plans. Kris and Jodz were no exception.
They decided to elope at National Park, which is very close to both their hearts. It was also where Kris proposed to Jodie, and you should definitely check out their epic story in the film below.
The elopement has given me the opportunity to craft something unique. I have always wanted to create more of a film-like approach to my wedding films, but the hectic schedule of a typical wedding normally does not allow much time or space to be creative. Elopement is a different beast together. Kris and Jodie were on board with all of my ideas, and collaborated in every aspects of the movie. It was their love of my work, and my passion for creativity, that has allowed us to create this masterpiece below.
Enjoy, and I would love to hear your thoughts and comments below on this elopement production.

From Jodie:
"Love it so much. Yes we got choked up with smiles looking at one another holding each other’s hands sitting on the couch watching on our tv. The raw emotions of it all came right back and it was beautiful to see and relive it. We’ve watched it over and over since you sent us the link and every time we seem to see and pick up on something magical and different each time. It’s a wonderful representation of the day. The significance of that whole area, of how the ceremony flowed, of being in the majesty of that place was brought back in waves and it’s hard to fight back the tears when it’s something we are so happy with looking back on."
I agree with my darling wife Jodie, this is an awesome representation of that whole day. A snapshot stitched expertly together by Binh forming an amazing tapestry of videography for us to showcase our special day, to share with family and friends who were unable to attend. I had goosebumps and shed a few tears reliving the magic of that day thank you Binh, we love this elopement production you have made for us.
This was magical and amazing
Love you guys
Thanks for you comment Jason it was a truely magical day!
I just sat down and watched this all the way through. Such an amazing video, it captures Jodie and Kris, just being them, how they got to be there on that day, and just looking stunning of course. When I think of a wedding video, I used to think of a fixed camera showing the ceremony, this is not that, this showed the ceremony as a part of their wedding story, it was a mini film of the day and their lives. Just so cool, I even needed tissues (and I should have been prepared, I knew what they said before hand). Just Epic.
Hey Scott, thanks for being part of that whole day, we couldn’t have done it without you, lol. You added to the whole experience by being relaxed and able to go with the flow, even with us changing the venue on the day, hahaha! You weren’t judgemental (and didn’t get the heebie jeebies 👻) of the location we chose to go with in the moment. You were awesome!!! 👏
