One thing I love about being a wedding photographer is the chance to travel around New Zealand to the big cities to the little corners of New Zealand. This Hawkes Bay wedding was definitely at one of those little corner.
If you want wedding inspiration for casual, cool, relaxing, intimate, rustic, and fun-filled weddings, this wedding blog is definitely it. I had the pleasure to be the Hawkes Bay wedding photographer for Keri and Hami wedding at her parent's bach. Sure the bach was not grand, filled with tons of wedding decoration or big as pillars, but it sure will filled with love that oozed out from every corner.
Started with the boys, they just could not stop laughing. They even took out an electric drill to make new holes for the belt, cracking up laughing at the same time of course. At least, no accidental injuries around the important region took place :). Keri was just elegant from head to toe in her wedding gown. The simplicity and elegance of the dress matched the mood of the beach theme wedding day perfectly.
The wedding ceremony vowels caused many tears and laughters, with some lifetime memories that will sure to keep these two grounded and in love for eternity. This was quickly followed with crayfish lunch, more words that caused even more tears and laughters, and a touch of red port for everyone (an apparent army traditional drink). Oh, I nearly forgot about the singing, the feet stomping, and lots of yelling and hysterial laughter during Hami speech. The man definitely knows how to entertain.
For the bridal photography, we just simply dashed over the paddock next door. This is why I love New Zealand. We are surrounded by stunning scenery, even at paddock next door. A beach view, a stunning bride, a dashing groom, definitely do help though.
I hope that through the images you can just feel and sense just want a special day it was for everyone there.
