I have always loved capturing weddings in Taupo, not because of the abundant number of different settings and locations, but because we can also take a mini family holiday wedding possible.
When you get to combine farm and Taupo, you get the magical Taupo farm wedding photography with Adele and Brendon.
Adele was always going to have the weddings her way, and stamp her personality on such magical days. Thus, you get the wedding images with two horses, 6 dogs, and of course cowboy boots as her wedding shoes. This is what weddings should be about, the people, the personality, and the pure organic joy and love of it all.
The farm was neatly converted for the ceremony, with hay bails as seats of course. What else would you expect? Brendon's workshed had a massive tidy-up, with all the work tools neatly tucked into a corner, while the rest of the grand space was magically transformed into a stunning wedding reception venue.
The rest of the day was just plain smooth sailing. The sunset came out just in time as we arrived back from the bridal shoot, and I just could not resist whisking Adele and Brendon away and soaked in the beautiful golden light.
