Palmerston North Wedding Photographer with Ashleigh and Matt at Vintage Car Club
As a Palmerston North wedding photographer, Hiwinui Estate is a wedding venue that I love each time I go there. There is something about the garden setting, pond, rural scenery, and most importantly, the direction of the afternoon sun, that allows beautiful wedding images to be created with ease. Ashleigh happens to work there as a beautician also, and she shares the same love for the venue as I do, which is always a good sign.
Starting with the Matt, the groom and the groomsmen getting ready just outside of Palmerston North, I was greeting with a baby room being setup, as these two love birds were eagerly awaiting for their first bundle of joy arriving later in the year. Always so cute to see.
We then ventured out Ashleigh's mum place to be greeted with the whole family, all excited as they get pampered and get ready for the day. There were kids left, right and center, which is always fun to see. I have always felt that wedding days are all about love, and family plays a big part, especially children. Ashleigh just shined and glowed in her wedding dress. She definitely knows how to rock the vintage and boho wedding theme.
The wedding ceremony was just beautiful as Palmerston North once again gave us another hot summer day. We are basically just baking under the hot sun, even though it was in March. Ashleigh and Matt exchanged intimate and touching words and promises for their wedding vows, especially as they are about to embark on parenthood, as well as being husband and wife.
We stayed on the ground of Hiwinui for the bridal parties, and for the first time, I was able to photography the bride and groom in the corn field that was specially left uncut just for the wedding day. It is always nice to do something new at familiar wedding venues. It does help when you have wedding clients who love my wedding photography and want to work with me to experiment and go with the flow. This was so evidence by those beautiful evening sunset and evening wedding photos where we had such little time to take advantage of the golden light. I always says that sunset never waits for anyone.
I cannot wait to do the maternity and newborn photography for these two beautiful people, when they welcome their bundle of joy into the world. In the mean time, do enjoy these wedding photos and don't forget to Like and Comment below.
